Our Leadership Team

Craig joined Lohman Company in 2000 as a manager and now serves as partner-in-charge of the assurance and accounting departments. In addition to his management and client responsibilities, Craig also acts as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technology Officer.  His duties in these roles include managing the firm’s internal accounting and reporting processes, managing office personnel and overseeing implementation of any new technology. As a mentor within the firm, he is a member of both the Executive Partner Group and the Senior Management Group.

After graduating from college, Craig began his career in 1992 as an accountant with First Interstate Bank. He remained in the financial institutions industry until 2000, when he joined Lohman Company to work along side his father, Jay Lohman, the firm’s president and founder. His career path has provided him with a wide range of experience and Craig now focuses his expertise on closely-held businesses, technology, real estate, construction, manufacturing, distribution, service, franchise industries, and nonprofit entities and employee benefit plans.

Craig brings a unique perspective to clients, with a background first in industry and now in public accounting. He understands the valuable role that a quality CPA can play for a business owner and utilizes his knowledge to help clients achieve their goals. Craig enjoys sharing his expertise with others and has been a featured speaker at several industry engagements.

As a result of facing a number of challenges in his life, Craig has learned that through faith and hard work, success can be achieved. He believes in taking full advantage of every opportunity given, living life in the present and stopping to smell the roses now and then. He gives credit for his professional success to hard work, honesty, the ability to really listen and a continued desire to learn.

Raised in Holland, Michigan, Craig now resides in Gilbert, Arizona with his wife, their six active children and the family dog, Gidget. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, nurturing his passions for technology and baseball and cheering on Sun Devil sports teams.
