Biography

Since 2013, Nicole has been a valuable member of the Lohman Company team. She currently serves as a tax manager in the firm’s Tax Department. In this capacity, she performs tax work for C- and S-Corporations, including income tax returns, quarterly estimates and planning, deferred tax calculations, tax compliance, and more. She works primarily with clients in the construction, manufacturing, medical, real estate, retail, service, software, and technology industries.

Nicole joined Lohman Company after graduating from college. Her previous roles within the firm include staff accountant, tax senior, and tax supervisor. With support from members of the firm management, she has been able to focus on and specialize in corporate taxation, which is the area of accounting she most enjoys. One great example of Nicole’s area of focus is her management of a unique consulting engagement comprised of many professionals. She has expanded the scope of this specific engagement many times since 2014.

A dedicated professional, Nicole’s parents instilled in her the value of hard work and commitment from a young age. Growing up, math was always her favorite subject in school, and when she took a freshman-level accounting class in college, she realized that it was the career for her. Nicole credits her success in part to the support and interest given to her by members of the Lohman Company management team.

Raised in Lake Forest, California, Nicole now lives in the San Luis Obispo area with her husband, Jake. Her favorite local activities include wine tastings in Paso Robles, walks in Pismo Beach, and hiking in the hills. In her downtime, Nicole enjoys reading, cooking, and exercising. She and her husband love to travel; together they have visited five countries and twelve states.
