With tax season in full swing, we here at Lohman Company are working hard to provide the best possible services for our clients. We haven’t been all work and no play, however, here are just a few of the fun things we’ve been up to since the beginning of the year!
Office Happenings:
During the week of January 20 – January 24 team members participated in our Winter Bingo. The final winner this year was Julie Herman!
The Broncos and the Seahawks weren’t the only ones looking to win Super Bowl Sunday. Many got into the action by participating in our Annual Super Bowl Squares game. The winners this year were Valerie Long, Lisa Otis, Pamela Vaught and Mary Jordan.
No Valentine’s Day would be complete without a round of Valentine Bingo! The lucky winners were Kari Kidd, Shirley Schoonover and Rebecca Choate.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted and so did we! Before the Oscars aired we hosted our Annual Oscar Ballot contest in which employees attempted to guess the winners for each category. Those with the most correct winners enjoyed their own prizes as well. This year, first prize went to Mary Jordan with 19 correct winners. Kari Kidd was the runner up with 13 correct winners. There was also a special “Razzie” prize for Douglas Alford for guessing only 4 winners. Congratulations to all our winners!
Having a happy, and appreciated staff is why we provide outstanding service to our clients. In an effort to maintain staff morale, we held our Employee Appreciation Day on Friday March 7, 2014. Lohman Company treated all of its team members to delicious fruit smoothies from Jamba Juice.

Big congratulations to Cati Piorkowski’s son, Jack, for placing first at his Elementary School Spelling Bee! He then went on to place second in the regional competition and will be moving on to the State Spelling Bee on March 28th. We wish him luck!
