Veronica Gonzales, CPA
Veronica joined Lohman Company in January 2022 and quickly became an asset to our Project Professional team. She is an accomplished Financial Accounting professional with strong analytical and leadership skills. Adept at recommending and implementing best practices and process improvements. Her experience includes public, private, and global companies across a wide range of industries.
As an Arizona native and avid sports enthusiast, she has been a Cardinals season ticket holder for over 10 years. When not attending Cardinals games, you will find her support at Suns, D-Backs and ASU games. She loves to travel with her friends or relax at home with her 3 baby tortoises (K1, Fitzy & Budda).
It’s Time to Unwind
Life is about balance. We all must take time to rest, relax, and recharge. These moments will re-energize the mind, body & soul!
Amanda Lilly, Tax Manager, had quite the winter journey at Elk Lake Resort in Bend, OR. This resort is only accessible in the winter by skis, snowmobile, or the lodge’s suburban with cat tracks. Amanda completed an 11-mile cross-country voyage in 4-hours. What a thrilling experience!
The season of Spring. The flowers are blooming, the BBQ covers are coming off, the pools are reopening, and picnic baskets are being packed. It’s a great season to enjoy the outdoors and that’s exactly what we did.
Lohman Company held our company/family picnic this past May. We had a great time gathering outside the office, sharing stories, playing games, and creating laughter.

Lohman Company participated in Treasure House’s 2nd annual cornhole tournament on Saturday, May 21st. Treasure House, started by Kurt and Brenda Warner, is a unique active living community for young adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. This section is dedicated to our staff’s kids/grandkids.
Sr. Associate, Bryana Van Egmond, had her 4th child on March 11th. Lucas David Van Egmond weighed 9lb 4oz, almost a pound bigger than his older siblings. His two older sisters love watching over him.
For the Love of Food
Our Featured Recipe
A light meal that spikes the taste buds with Thai flavorings.
Thai Beef Salad
2 green onions
1 lemon grass, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup chopped fresh mint leaves
1 cup lime juice
1/3 cup fish sauce
1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
½ cup white sugar
1 ½ pounds (1 inch thick) steak fillets
1 head of lettuce
½ English cucumber, sliced or diced
1 pint cherry tomatoes
In a large bowl, stir together the green onions, lemon grass, cilantro, mint leaves, lime juice, fish sauce, sweet chili sauce and sugar until well combined and the sugar has dissolved. Adjust the flavor, if desired, by adding more sugar or fish sauce. Set aside.
Cook the steak over high heat for approximately 4-6 minutes on each side (medium). Do not overcook the meat. Slice into thin strips. Add the meat to the sauce and refrigerate for 1-3 hours.
Serve on top of the lettuce. Add the cucumbers and tomatoes.
Servings: 4 – 6
Note: Sauce will need to be prepared 1-3 hours ahead of time.
