Part II

Since celebrating our 16-year anniversary on June 1, 2016, Lohman Company has had time to reflect on all the events we’ve been part of since our 15-year anniversary. We invite you to continue sharing in our lives over the past year in this series of posts looking back.

Giving Back to the Community

Giving BackIn the 2015 holiday season, Lohman Company supported Sunshine Acres Children’s Home located in Mesa. This organization provides a loving, wholesome, Christian home for children who are separated from their parents. The mission is to help children establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures and prepare them for success in adult life. The firm provided Christmas gifts for four children. (Pictured left.)

On October 24, 2015, Craig Lohman and two of his children, Lucy and Jack, volunteered with the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mesa on Make a Difference Day. They were tasked with hanging door hanger bags with information about fire prevention and safety in a local neighborhood.

VolunteeringOn December 16, 2015 Lohman Company volunteered at United Food Bank putting together emergency food boxes, which consist of shelf stable products that makes complete and nutritious meals for a family of four for up to three days. Our firm was able to build 528 boxes, packaging over 11,000 meals, or about 13,000 pounds of food. (Pictured)

Valley Dogs Rescue Event

Lohman Company was a court sponsor at the inaugural Wags & Bags Cornhole festival in Ahwatukee, Arizona on March 19, 2016. The event benefitted Valley Dogs Rescue and Skin Cancer Awareness. Cati Piorkowski, Val Long and Mary Jordan all participated in the Cornhole tournament. (Pictured left.)

Having felt so inspired by Lohman Company’s volunteer experience in December, the firm participated in a food drive for United Food Bank during the month of June 2016. We were blessed by many charitable donations of food.
